THR Neonatal Education - Genetics & and the NICU

This online enduring activity is designed to enhance learner knowledge and competence related to the recognition and management of genetic and metabolic conditions in the NICU. Specifically, it aims to improve clinicians’ ability to identify newborn characteristics that suggest a genetic or metabolic disorder, appropriately utilize prenatal and postnatal genetic testing, recognize common genetic syndromes presenting in the neonatal period, and apply ethical principles when caring for infants with life‑limiting genetic conditions.
