We are aware of Senate Bill (S.B.) 912, which became effective on September 1, 2026 and requires healthcare practitioner continuing education (CE) compliance to be verified through continuing education tracking systems. The Texas Medical Board (TMB) has elected to use CE Broker for physician CE tracking. More information is available at: https://www.tmb.state.tx.us/resources/for-applicants-and-licensees/continuing-education-tracking.

Please note that the Texas Health Resources (THR) Continuing Education learning management system is not a CE tracking system. Healthcare professionals are responsible for reporting or uploading their earned CE credits to the tracking system designated by their licensing board. THR is currently exploring whether automatic reporting of CE credits to CE Broker may be feasible and is evaluating compatibility with our learning management system. However, no automatic reporting process is currently available. Learners remain responsible for ensuring that their CE credits are reported to the appropriate tracking system, as required by their licensing board.

To obtain a record of your THR CE credits, you may download a transcript from the THR CE website by selecting My Account and then My Activities. If you have questions about obtaining documentation of CE credit earned through THR, please contact the Department of Continuing Education at [email protected].

To claim credit, go to ce.texashealth.org/code and enter the activity code OR text the activity code to 817-396-7088.

Participants must claim credit within 7 days of the activity date.  After 7 days, no credit will be issued for the activity.
