THR Journal Article Review - Preventing Inadvertent Perioperative Hypothermia

This scholarly article review is designed to enhance perioperative nursing practice by improving adherence to evidence based hypothermia prevention guidelines. After participating in the activity, learners should be better prepared to consistently assess and monitor patients’ core temperatures across all perioperative phases and implement timely prewarming and active intraoperative warming interventions rather than relying solely on passive insulation.
