THR Journal Article Review - Intermittent BP Monitoring Inadequate for Evaluating Hemodynamic Response to Continuous IV Therapy
This scholarly article review is designed to improve nurses’ ability to accurately assess hemodynamic response in patients receiving continuous IV therapy by increasing their understanding of the limitations of intermittent BP monitoring and the benefits of continuous or high‑frequency monitoring. As a result of participating in this activity, clinicians will be better equipped to select appropriate monitoring strategies, interpret real‑time hemodynamic data, and optimize titration of IV therapies, ultimately enhancing patient safety and improving clinical outcomes.
