THR Journal Article Review - Insomnia in Heart Failure Patients in a Hospital Setting: Causes, Consequences, and Interventions
This scholarly article review is designed to enhance nurses’ competence in assessing insomnia and its contributing factors among patients with heart failure. It focuses on evidence-based strategies for optimizing diuretic management and nighttime care scheduling to reduce sleep disruptions, as well as implementing appropriate nonpharmacologic interventions at the bedside to improve sleep quality and patient outcomes.
