THR Journal Article Review - Impact of External Female Urinary Catheter Use on Urine Chemistry Test Results

This scholarly article review with post-test is designed for Texas Health nurses to analyze findings of a study regarding urine chemistry test results and using external female urinary catheters, recognizing that the external catheters do not significantly impact urine chemistry test results. This knowledge will enable them to confidently use these devices without concerns about compromising test accuracy, thereby improving patient care and diagnostic processes.
