THD Cardiovascular Symposium 2025 - Meeting of the Minds: High-Risk Group Collaboration
Target Audience
This interprofessional activity is designed for physicians, physician assistants and nurses involved in the care of cardiovascular patients. We also invite pharmacists, radiology technologists, respiratory therapists, EMS providers and allied health professionals to take this course. Cardiovascular patients require coordination and collaboration from a variety of providers to deliver time-sensitive treatment. Providers must collaborate to deliver prompt care with evidence-based pathways. This educational symposium will help guide all members of the treatment team on how to collaboratively care for the spectrum of cardiovascular patients.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this online enduring material, participants should be able to:
- Discuss how shared decision making and team work can improve patient care
- Explain the collaborative roles of interventional cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery in evaluating complex cardiac conditions
- Describe how these specialties contribute to developing and implementing an individualized plan of care
