THR Journal Article Review - Management of Diabetes and Hyperglycemia in Hospitalized Patients

This scholarly article review is designed to improve nurses’ clinical decision-making and consistency in inpatient glycemic management, increase adherence to current evidence-based guidelines for diabetes and hyperglycemia, reduce rates of hospital-acquired hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia-related complications, and enhance patient safety, glycemic outcomes, and the overall quality of care for hospitalized patients.
