This scholarly article review with post-test is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and strategies of Texas Health nurses regarding the prevention, prompt recognition, and management of infiltration and extravasation of non-vesicant and vesicant fluids/medications in the tissue surrounding IV sites.
