THFW Fracture Conference - Clavicle Fractures Current Concepts
Target Audience
This online interprofessional educational enduring material is designed for THFW orthopedic surgeons and nurses who manage patients with open/closed fractures. We also invite clinical staff to take this course. Its purpose is to address he need to have an established, systematic, evidence-based approach to caring for orthopedic trauma related episodes of care.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this online enduring material, participants should be able to:
- Identify and classify clavicle fractures
- Determine which fractures can be treated conservatively vs operatively
- Evaluate the best methods of surgical fixation for fractures that need operative intervention
- Improve multi-professional competence and performance related to the evaluation, decision making and care patients with clavicle fractures
