Target Audience
This online educational enduring material is designed for physicians and clinical staff. Its purpose is to provide for the continuous educational need of the physicians to become more knowledgeable about the obstetrical/gynecological diseases and conditions and become more efficient in the evaluation and management of concerns unique to their patients.
Learning Objectives

- Discuss past and current trends of stroke in pregnancy
- Identify the risk factors of stroke in pregnancy and their relationship to physiologic changes in pregnancy
- Discuss the maternal and fetal balances involved in the diagnostic and treatment approaches to stroke in pregnancy
- Review breastfeeding, contraception, and future pregnancy options for these women
