THP Trauma Grand Rounds - Delirium Assessment, Prevention and Management for Hospitalized Patients
Target Audience
This online interprofessional educational enduring material is designed for physicians and nurses who care for trauma patients. We also invite other members of the trauma care team to take this course.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this online enduring material, participants should be able to:
- Describe why avoiding delirium is a high priority for hospitalized patients
- Identify patients at high risk for developing delirium
- State two interventions that can be performed in hopes of preventing delirium from occurring
- Collaborate with interprofessional team members to implement interventions that decrease the duration of delirium in hospitalized patients
