Target Audience
This online interprofessional educational enduring material is designed for physicians and nurses who care for patients in the fields of neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-critical care and all the neurosciences. We also invite physician assistants, pharmacists, EMS, physical therapists, allied health professionals, and all other caregivers in the neuroscience spectrum to take this course. Its purpose is to address the skills and resources to care for neuroscience patients.

At the end of this online enduring material, participants should be able to:
- Review history of prognosticating post-cardiac arrest patients
- Examine recent guideline updates in assessment of post-cardiac arrest patients
- Discuss what constitutes poor neurologic prognosis
- Recognize confounding factors and limitations of prognostic evaluation
