Learning Objectives

At the end of this online enduring material, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the landscape of high acuity events in the NICU
  • Recognize patients at high risk for decompensation in the NICU
  • Review anticipatory planning and tailored resuscitation strategies special for neonates that fall outside the routine neonatal resuscitation
  • Describe opportunities for quality improvement initiatives to improve stabilization and resuscitation of patients in the NICU
