THD NICU Grand Rounds - Mental Health and Vulnerable Child Syndrome in the NICU
Target Audience
This online interprofessional educational enduring material is designed for physicians and nurses in neonatology, pediatrics and obstetrics. We also invited respiratory therapists to take this course. Its purpose is to address the need to provide the latest recommendations of neonatal care and identify best practices for neonatal intensive care.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this online enduring material, participants should be able to:
- Review the components of vulnerable child syndrome and its significance on neonatal outcomes
- Discuss and increase knowledge of the multidisciplinary care needed to address mental health and vulnerable child syndrome for NICU families
