Target Audience

This online educational enduring material is designed for physicians.  We also invite clinical staff to take the course. Its purpose is to provide for the continuous educational need of the physicians to become more knowledgeable about the diseases in internal medicine subspecialties and become more efficient in the evaluation and management of concerns unique to their patients. 

Learning Objectives

At the end of this online enduring material, participants should be able to:

  • Identify patients with early inflammatory arthritis and the importance of their timely referral
  • Review common side effects of DMARD therapy in rheumatoid arthritis, and the role of the primary care provider in their management
  • Discuss the importance of the partnership of the primary care provider and rheumatologist in the management of patients with rheumatoid arthritis
