Target Audience

This online interprofessional educational enduring material is designed for physicians and nurses involved in the care of trauma patients.  We also invite allied health professionals to attend.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this online enduring material, participants should be able to:

  • Describe how interprofessional team members collaborate to recognize and manage endothelial dysfunction in hemorrhagic shock
  • Describe endothelial dysfunction
  • Discuss novel areas for intervention of pathology related to hemorrhagic shock
  • Appraise relevant animal and human model studies related to novel therapeutics
  • Discuss avenues for research for augmentation of resuscitation with targeted therapeutics
