This online interprofessional educational enduring material is designed for designed for psychiatrists and social workers.  We also invite psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, recreational therapists, mental health technicians, clergy and administrators to take this course.  Its purpose is to address the need for behavioral health and psychiatric issues/treatments.

Learning Objectives

  • Discuss the roles of the default mode, salience, and executive resting state networks
  • Recognize how these networks change in substance use disorder, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Review how transcranial magnetic stimulation alters network connectivity
  • Describe the roles of the interprofessional team when patients receive transcranial magnetic stimulation
