THP Neonatal Grand Rounds - How to Better Care for Patients Following a Loss

Target Audience

This online interprofessional educational enduring material is designed for physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and allied health professionals in neonatology, pediatrics and obstetrics. Its purpose is to address the need for the latest recommendations of neonatal care and identify best practices for neonatal intensive care.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this online enduring material, participants should be able to:

  • Describe multidisciplinary team best practices for empathetically caring for patients who have lost a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth or early infant death
  • Discuss how to make patients part of the decision-making process and why that is important
