THD NICU Grand Rounds - Postpartum Depression (PPD) Screening of Mothers

Target Audience

This online interprofessional educational enduring material is designed for physicians and nurses in neonatology, pediatrics and obstetrics. We also invited respiratory therapists to take this course.  Its purpose is to address the need to provide the latest recommendations of neonatal care and identify best practices for neonatal intensive care.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this online enduring material, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss postpartum depression, its impact, and the role of pediatric providers in screening for PPD
  • Review our publication” Intimate partner violence and depression screening of mothers with infants in the NICU”
  • Present the team-based multidisciplinary approach in designing the NCTTRAC Maternal PPD Screening project
