This online interprofessional enduring material is designed for physicians and nurses in the following specialties: cardiovascular, critical care medicine, emergency medicine, family medicine, geriatric, hospitalist, internal medicine, primary care and vascular surgery. We also invite physician assistants and other allied health professionals to take this course. Its purpose is to address the need for knowledge and competence in regard to the latest cardiovascular treatment recommendations and considerations.

- Apply hemodynamic assessment in the differentiation of cardiogenic shock etiology and management
- Explain that the assessment and management of cardiogenic shock should be tailored to SCAI stages
- Describe how the development of a Cardiogenic Shock Team involves a multidisciplinary collaboration with clear delineation of responsibilities
- Identify EMR based strategies for shock prevention and earlier management
