Target Audience

This online interprofessional educational enduring material is designed for designed for psychiatrists and social workers.  We also invite psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, recreational therapists, mental health technicians, clergy and administrators to take this course.  Its purpose is to address the need for behavioral health and psychiatric issues/treatments.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this online enduring material, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize how sex, relationships and mental health are intertwined
  • Review the presenting issues that mask anxiety, depression and other mental health concerns
  • Discuss and offer resolutions for clients presenting with sexual issues
  • Discuss how to collaborate with other mental health and medical professionals to work as a team to help clients with the sexual and mental health issues
