THR Behavioral Health Grand Rounds - Community Psychiatry Through the Ages: Successes and Work Still to be Done
Target Audience
This online interprofessional educational enduring material is designed for psychiatrists and licensed psychotherapists. We also invite psychologists, nurses, therapists, mental health technicians, clergy, administrators, EMS and other professionals working with behavioral health patients to take this course.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this online enduring material, participants should be able to:
- Describe the evolution and current role of Dallas County’s Community Mental Health Center
- Explain the services and functions of the Community Mental Health Center within the local behavioral health system
- Collaborate across interprofessional roles to recognize challenging behavioral health situations and apply appropriate, team-based intervention strategies within the local behavioral health system
