Target Audience

This online interprofessional educational enduring material is designed for physicians and nurses in neonatology, pediatrics and obstetrics. We also invited respiratory therapists to take this course.  Its purpose is to address the need to provide the latest recommendations of neonatal care and identify best practices for neonatal intensive care.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this online enduring material, participants should be able to:

  • Define the cognitive, technical, and behavioral skills required for a safe and high-functioning multidisciplinary transport team
  • Differentiate medicolegal responsibilities of the transferring medical team, the receiving medical team, and the transport team
  • Review specialty equipment that can be used on transport
