Target Audience

This online interprofessional educational enduring material is designed for physicians, nurses, pharmacists and respiratory therapists involved in the care of critical care patients.  We also invite physician assistants and other healthcare professionals to take this course.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this online enduring material, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss current literature on sepsis therapy
  • Consider the utility of the SEP1 bundle
  • Appreciate future directions in sepsis care
  • Describe the roles and responsibilities of the interprofessional healthcare team including communication and collaboration to improve sepsis-related outcomes in critically ill patients
