THD Cardiovascular Symposium - Achieving Excellence Through Teamwork and Technological Advancements

Target Audience

This interprofessional activity is designed for internal medicine physicians, primary care physicians, family practice physicians, cardiologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, nurses, radiology technologists, respiratory care providers and allied health professionals.  Cardiovascular patients require coordination and collaboration from a variety of providers to deliver time-sensitive treatment.  Providers must collaborate to deliver prompt care with evidence-based pathways.  Most providers are not aware of the importance of their role from transfer coordination with EMS to treatment modalities in the inpatient and outpatient setting. This educational symposium will help guide all members of the treatment team on how to collaboratively care for the spectrum of cardiovascular patients.
