HRO Game Day - Error Prevention Tools

Target Audience

This online enduring material is designed for all Texas Health providers and employees who are committed to preventing error and eliminating preventable harm to patients and colleagues. Its purpose is to address the fact that needs exist to prevent error and improve reliability through dedicated leadership, a cultural commitment to quality and safety, and mastery of evidence-based error prevention behaviors. Needs exist to educate THR's workforce on the science of human error and safety, as well as to allow THR's workforce to practice safety strategies and use tools that will assist them in reducing error and preventable harm.

At the end of this online enduring material, participants should be able to:

  • Participate in a culture committed to eliminating preventable harm by making it safe to speak up for safety
